Katie O'Neil

Born and raised in the South Wales valleys, Katie O’Neil grew up visiting the local library multiples times a week, trudging up the hill to home with an armful of books. Her first books were tiny ones, written for her Sylvanian Families, held together by a single staple.

Katie O’Neil was born and raised in the South Wales Valleys. A mother of five, Katie lives with her husband, the two youngest children and the two family dogs, Stanley, the tiny Poochon and Bee, the huge Irish Wolfhound. Katie has always loved reading and visited the local library multiple times a week, always trudging up the hill to home with the maximum amount of books allowed.

Katie’s love of reading never waned and writing was a natural progression. Her first books were tiny ones, written as a small child for her Sylvanian Families and held together by a single staple. Having penned many things from terrible poems full of teenage angst to a popular (but now defunct) blog, Katie decided to give books another try. This time real ones, with no staples in sight…unless she can work it into a murder weapon somewhere.
